PLEIADES 5 plenary

The 5th PLEIADES Plenary Meeting was held on March 28-29, 2023, in Halden, Norway, as a hybrid on-line/on-site meeting.

The plenary started with a word from Seifallah BEN HADJ HASSINE, the European Commission Project Officer, who raised the opportunity for our consortium to consider applying for a PLEIADES follow-up project under the EURATOM Work Programm for 2023 – 2025. A thought that our consortium is considering.

After a general presentation of the project progress given by our coordinator Marie-Bénédicte JACQUES from CEA and after Work Packages (WP) updates, this plenary meeting provided consortium members with a great opportunity to discuss specific issues together.

Among others, working sessions took place, allowing partners to collect feedback on the implementation of some ongoing activities as well as to discuss the different possible exploitation strategies for the project’s results. Looking at the current development carried out under WP3 on the user stories demonstrations, partners could brainstorm on the next actions and took also the time to input on WP4 methodology to identify the strengths and weaknesses of modelling approach.

This 5th plenary was also the occasion for the partners to visit the Institute for Energy Technology’s labs and learn about robotic and human factors in nuclear environments.

These two days were rich in discussions and empowered our consortium for the remaining months of the project.

Note that results from PLEIADES will be presented at the IAEA Conference:  some partners will be present with a stand and a presentation will be given during the EURATOM Horizon2020 session on the 16th of May.
