On the 7-8 October 2020 the PLEIADES H2020 project had its official kick off meeting.
Although the partners couldn’t be together physically, it was two days of good planning, discussions and even some debates on pronunciation! The 30 or so attendees are ready to get started to create something great together.
PLEIADES is a Euratom project that will connect digital technologies on an online platform for smarter decommissioning and dismantling (D&D) of nuclear facilities. During the project simulations will be run and digital tools will be tested on 3 use cases, each presenting their own challenges. The data collected from the use cases will be fed into the platform and used in all steps of the D&D process, updating and evolving the more data that is collected.
